Cold Weather

Today here on the Central Coast it was sunny and very cold. It was also kind of windy. There was frost on our roof. Next week another rain storm is coming. Did you know that there are different zones?.

It has been so cold here that the snow on roads that aren't traveled much, like the one in our cul-de-sac--don't melt at all. Brrr.

What does that mean, "different zones?"
